Please welcome Dante Nuno, Recruitment and Development Manager, to Team goBalto; a man with a life that’s as interesting as Dante’s Divine Comedy.
Originally from Los Angeles, Dante has a BA in Psychology from U.C. Berkeley and was Vice President of the Student Human Resources Association. After graduation he followed his passion for cooking and baking by attending the Culinary Institute of America in New York.
In the past
With years of extensive Human Resource (HR) experience, even before he completed his undergraduate work, Dante went to work for a Wall Street financial services firm’s HR department. After years on the east coast, he moved to the Bay Area to work for GAP and later consulted for many companies and startups. With well over 15 years experience in HR spanning many industries, he finds great talent from the Inferno to build a great teams for successful companies.
Fun Fact
Dante is the definition of avant garde, with many interests that are ahead of even the innovators and early adopters. He enjoys experimental noise music (that has a big following in Japan) and listens to it when he bakes cakes. Dante finds Paradiso with his creative side as a leader in boutique custom-made one-of-a-kind cakes for Fire and Icing.
And yes, Dante has read the Divine Comedy.
