Prototyping… Creating the future…
We’re excited to welcome Steve Winter, User Experience (UX) Designer & Prototyper, to Team goBalto. He joins our team to work closely with our UX and Design teams to build the prototypes necessary for research and development. As a prototyper he helps to create, build, and help design the future. Engineers and the Product team will use his prototypes to build the actual product and make further improvements.
Past
True to his creative nature he started working in radio and television before he moved into web application design and development. His creative tech-centric personality brought him to the Bay Area to work for major technology companies like Oracle where he was a User Interface Engineer and Adobe where he developed web applications.
Steve also spent several years in China, where he founded companies in both the web development and event planning markets. Most recently he was a Senior User Experience Designer at Autodesk in Shanghai where he built designs based on user research with a global team.
Present
Steve recently returned to the Bay Area and joined goBalto. His creative background, international experience, and user centered design experience was a good fit. We look forward to working with Steve so he can help us invent real solutions that solve real problems.
Fun Fact
Steve lived in Germany and China for several years and speaks German and Mandarin Chinese, in addition to English. He’s a martial arts guru holding belts in Judo, Karate, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. On his days off, he enjoys taking his motorcyle out for a ride to the Marin headlands North of San Francisco.
