This year, goBalto will be kicking off the Annual goBalto Husky Awards to recognize outstanding individuals from the organization. The awards are intended to celebrate individuals at goBalto who represent the three core traits used to describe the heroic husky “Balto” himself, as commemorated on his statue in Central Park. These three traits are:
Endurance…for possessing the capacity to withstand wear and tear.
Fidelity…for exhibiting faithfulness to the cause, demonstrated by exemplary loyalty and support.
Intelligence…for acquiring and applying new knowledge and skills to advance the goBalto mission to improve clinical research through technology
Each employee was allowed to nominate one candidate for each trait and provide a reason for why they chose this person. The candidates with the most nominations will win an award for that trait. The winners will receive a unique crystal award to be presented at the annual all-hands meeting in goBalto Headquarters in downtown San Francisco, December 20th. Winners will be featured in a future post of the Chromosome.
In the end, I believe everyone at goBalto is exceptional and am grateful for having the opportunity to work with such a high caliber team!

Hey reader, what do you think of initiating an award for the broader clinical research community? Recognizing individuals who contribute to the broader mission of improving and innovating in clinic research?
Hi Jae,
Wonderful ideas. Balto was indeed a wonderful example to all of us that with endurance, fidelity and intelligence, we can indeed achieve important goals!
Everyone at a company such as goBalto is indeed exemplary, and recognizing those in other companies who are also working to improve clinical research shows we are all on the same team to achieve those goals.
Best regards,
Sherry
