Drum roll please….say hello to our new CTO, Kris!
Kris Wehner recently joined the growing ranks of goBalto. He will be leading the goBalto engineering team and driving the technology strategy as our Chief Technology Officer.
A Brief History
Kris received his MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He got his start in commercial computing in the ISP boom of the mid-90s, moving to San Francisco in 2000. Kris has worked in a variety of roles and industries, including as an architect Salesforce.com and CTO of Aggregate Knowledge, a big data focused advertising analytics company.
Most recently, Kris was Vice President of Engineering at Topspin Media, a sales and marketing platform focused on creating a middle class of musicians.
Today
As Chief Technology Officer of goBalto, Kris will lead and grow the engineering team, as well as drive the technology strategy for the organization. He is an advocate of lean engineering principles, and is very excited to bring the benefits of lean engineering to pharmaceutical technology.
Fun Fact
Kris is a dedicated music omnivore, with a passion for discovering new music regardless of genre. In particular, he loves Bluegrass and traditional American music. He is also a dedicated father of a 7 year old boy and a 6 month old baby girl. The real Fun Fact is, Kris has never missed a single Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival, 11 years running. Kris spends his weekends with his family, taking photos and enjoying great coffee.
